Irish artist Austin McQuinn works in a range of media, from painting and photography to video and live art performance. His curent exhibition specially conceived for the Butler Gallery – Lammermoor is inspired by Lucia di Lammermoor, an opera by Donizetti written in 1835 that itself was adapted from a Sir Walter Scott novel set in 17th century Scotland. Join McQuinn in conversation with Butler Gallery staff for an insightful tour of the current exhibtiion and a discussion on the artist’s inspiration and working processes.
