The Butler Gallery is currently on the look-out for people aged 16 – 19 years who are interested in exploring theatre and visual art at this year’s Kilkenny Arts Festival!
With the generous support of The Arts Council’s Young Ensemble Scheme, Butler Gallery’s Red Square Critics’ Project will once again invite young people from all over the city and county to come together and discover what’s on offer during the Kilkenny Arts Festival. Running from 7th – 19th August, the group will work with trained facilitators, developing their ‘critical eye’ while investigating the theatre and visual art strands of the Festival. This year, the group will collaborate with the Have Your Say! Critics’ Group for Adults, newly formed during the Bealtaine Festival. Butler Gallery will partner with Barnstorm Theatre, The Young Irish Film-makers and The Galway Arts Centre to make this a truly unforgettable experience.
If you are interested in finding out more about becoming a member of the Red Square Critics’ Group, please contact Bairbre-Ann at bairbre.ann@butlergallery.com or phone 0567761106.
