    Seeking Development Manager

    The Butler Gallery is growing and moving to the Evan’s Home in Kilkenny in 2020. The gallery is seeking to recruit a dynamic, experienced, highly motivated fundraising professional to develop and manage donor relations, partnership engagement and Capital Fundraising Campaign for our new home. The Development Manager will be responsible for generating new sources of funds as well as enhancing the systems and infrastructure required to meet our fundraising targets.

    We’re delighted to announce that we will be offering an exhibition-themed programme of workshops for young people aged 13-18 in 2019. This will begin with a workshop for our current show Spitting Image on Sunday 24th February with professional photographer Brian Cregan.

    Suitable for children aged 5-12 years, our Children’s Programme invites children into the Gallery to have their say about the exhibition and make their own work in response. Facilitated by professional artists, these activities encourage children to express their opinions, learn about art and use a variety of interesting and exciting materials to create their own art works.

    Butler Gallery invites people living with dementia and their family, friends or professional carers to visit our exhibitions, to look and discuss with others in a safe and welcoming environment.
