    National Drawing Day 2018
    Butler Gallery Kilkenny Castle and Park

    National Drawing Day is an annual countrywide event initiated by the National Gallery of Ireland. The event extends across the grounds of Kilkenny Castle, offering a range of creative and colourful artist-led outdoor workshops. This FREE event is open to people of all ages, Butler Gallery National Drawing Day offers people the opportunity to indulge their creative side.

    Suitable for children aged 5-12 years, our FREE Children’s Programme invites children into the Gallery to have their say about the exhibition and make their own work in response. Facilitated by professional artists, these activities encourage children to express their opinions, learn about art and use a variety of interesting and exciting materials to create their own art works.

    Butler Gallery invites people living with dementia and their family, friends or professional carers to visit our exhibitions, to look and discuss with others in a safe and welcoming environment.
