‘Build Your Audience’ Arts Audiences Project
The Butler Gallery is participating in an exciting research project as part of the Arts Council’s Arts Audiences 'Build Your Audience' pilot project, which provides free expert tuition on arts marketing and audience development.

The Butler Gallery’s focus is on retaining and building on our audience base through profiling and increasing visibility at the Gallery. We are working with arts consultant Heather Maitland and a small army of volunteers on a fact finding mission involving observing and surveying visitors to the Butler Gallery in throughout January, February and March 2010.

The results of the project will be made available to the arts community nationally. To find out more about the project, go to
